Early Saturday morning we picked up GI joe; programed our talking GPS navigator nüvi device ,(Otherwise known as Hilly, (go ahead click here to find out why 'hilly', =D) and eventually found ourselves in downtown Chicago, somewhat lost and somewhat 20 miles south-ish from where we had started.

..By the time this day was over, Our GI joe was safely returned to base and we were back in the City of Salt.
This interesting photo is the last one I took on my cellphone... Even now, I can't help but giggle when I look at it... I know I know...it's bad!
But in my defense, it was Todd who was bored waiting at gate A. It was Todd who who first started giggling and it was Todd who pointed it out to his mother and I. And, it was Todd who said..."no! don't take a picture!"
I just took the picture.
Love the picture. Love the kids looking back at the well endowed man. Glad you had a good time. I like Chicago, just not to live there though:)
ReplyDeleteI will think of him, and pray for him in my own way. As i do of all our soldiers in the military. My daughter is moving to Italy, because her husband will be stationed there for 3 years. I just hope, and pray that he does not get deployed. He has been in the Air Force for 7 years. Lucky so far.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me it ain't so.

Thanks RZ...and yes the story you link to is true. It stems from an incident last year where a young mother paid someone to beat her up in hopes she would miscarry. The bill is a classic example of twisting on a tourniquet when a band-aid would suffice. ACLU is all over it and it will not go unchallenged...it will cost us taxpayers dearly!
ReplyDeleteAmazing, absolutely amazing. What in the world are we turning into.
ReplyDeleteNEVER MIND DO NOT ANSWER THAT. :-)
