Yes, my mom is a delight...saturdays are my turn to be with them. every-single saturday, rain, shine, snow or sleet and I drive 50 miles southbound and I never know until I get there what kind of state of mind they will be in, it can be very difficult to say the least... but Sandi...I want you to know that your blog has really inspired me to be more grateful and appreciative of the time I "get" to spend.
Susana being Sue deleted my comment I had to say I see you are in education and already receive taxpayer benefits so when this gets implemented I can see why you are for it being it won't oat you any extra so maybe you should offer to pay for at least your own medical you know to ease the burden. Oh and by the way I hardly live in a mansion or anywhere close to it. Yesterday was rough because it took us 4 hours to shovel out from 2 feet of Global Warming. You know us rich folk prefer to do the work ourselves. Don't worry I won't troll your blog I just had to make my case.
Lisa, 1.The mansion I was referring to on Sue's blog was meant as a metaphor. It's an old cliche'. I'm not certain where is comes from...it kind of sounds Mark Twain-ish? I used it to make point.
2. Any tax benefits I might be getting from teaching school is news to me. Please explain what you mean.
3. I pay huge monthly health insurance premiums.
4. You are welcome to troll. But sorry, there isn't much action.
Awww your Mom is a delight!!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I envy you that you still have your mom around! That video is very sweet.
