Being the faithful Union-paying member that I am, not only means $56.20 is deducted from my monthly paycheck, but in return, I get a glorious, annual fall recess. It's not like I intentionally plan on sluffing the October Utah Education Association Fest; in fact as the 2 day holiday approaches you'll find me pouring over their glossy brochures and highlighting the PPnP's (places, people and products) I intend to seek out.The problem is, when it comes right down to it, I most often find something/anything more interesting to do...this year my alternative agenda consisted of playing with spiders, cleaning the hall closet, dusting the ceiling fans, making 3 gallons of apple cider, visiting my niece in the hospital (twice), anxiously waiting around to take "after" pictures of myJoe's crew cut, and looking after mysweet 'lil EddieAnne.
...and now I'm off to Provo, to hang out with the folks.
