a kludge that fixes a kludge is called a cruft

Kludgy (clue-d-gee)... Since I didn't grow up in the midst of the linguistically sophisticated southern-Utah culture, it was Wikia'Todd'ia  who first introduced me to this wonderful word (along with clumb, malk and fark).   The only reason I know how to spell it is because I googled it in an attempt to prove to him that "kludgy" tain't in the dictionary...But alas it tis... even if my kludgy text-editor disagrees.

Now this brings me to the point of today's post, I want to thanks MRMACRUM for nominating my kludgy blog for the "Blogger's Excellent 'E' Award".

You will notice in my sidebar, that MRMACRUM is one of my "followers". I have four of 'em now...and one is me.  ;-D.  But I don't particularly like the term "follower" so its been changed it to "my  favorite bloggers of whom I smile favorably upon".

Anyway, MRMACRUM blog site is one of my favorite places to visit, I like the way he writes, I like his topics, I like his layout and I like his links. To my other three "followers" (including me) go visit.., he has been visited over 2300 times and compared to my 780 hits, it makes this place look rather kludgy.  Therefore, it is a real honor that he nominated me.  THANK YOU!

The way I understand the "E award" game is like this...
...in order to accept the award, I must nominate 10 more blogs.
This is going to be tough, since I only "smile favorably" on 3 other people, (besides myself). But here goes....( in no particular order)

#1.  Brenda's blog,  I visit there regularly. It's a fun family place.  Brenda was my BFF from elementary school on up and about a year ago, we connected again on the big WWW.  She still lives in my hometown and I love seeing the familiar places and faces.  Brenda is an amazingly talented artist and photographer, she's a small business owner with several successful scrap-booking retail stores, called "pebbles in my pocket". She has 5 beautiful daughters. I like Brenda's ability of turning messy, mundane and hard work into fun. She is pure inspiration.

#2. My nephew Rob's blogspot.  Last summer he began digitalizing old family photos and posting them. This is a way fun place to visit. Many family members (distant and otherwise) drop in and out of his place leaving comments and filling in missing information on the photos. Rob has put so much time and effort into this project and it is  a total "E" ! Robert, is another very talented photographer and he has handed out advice and tips that make my photos more cool.  Thanks ROB!

#3.  My other nephew David's Stutzblogthingie is another total "E" bomb-blog!  Both Dave and his wife are school teachers in Mumbai India. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE-E- E his blog.  His life is one big adventure!  It's great seeing the photos and reading his stories, I can almost smell the streets =D.  He is a very good writer...not much of a poet though.. ;-D

#4.  Sue, she is my yet to be met in real life friend.  Sue and I are like minded in our political views, she is focused and she posts regularly and always seems to be one step ahead of the news.  She gets many comments and often little wars break out.  It's a great spot to hang out.  I like the way she handles her "trolls" with total disdain and the occasional "f"-bomb. Which I find really funny, because for the most part Sue comes across as one the nicest people anyone could have the pleasure of meeting.  Go visit...hellloo....Mr

#5. Ok...I am running out of blogs to nominate, but if anyone out there craves nasty-spit-right-wing commentary, visit Nikki.  Her writing style is beholden unto no other and it is for that reason I go. Nikki manages to make sausage out of the English language and I find it entertaining.  She writes like a crazy woman locked in a meatlocker.  Nik's comment'eers show up like clockwork to feed her deep seeded need for attention and there is no end to it.  She may or may not consider this as a nomination for the prestigious and coveted E award...but she'll figure out what to do with it.

in the meantime, #6, #7, 8,9 and 10 will have to wait for another time because I gotz me some venison jerky coming out of the oven. It's been cooking for 8 hours and the aroma has been making my mouth water all day!

So, Kludgily, I will graciously accept MRMACRUM'S "E" Award" and post the badge of honor on my site.
